Ink Review: Iroshizuku Kon-Peki

I got this ink late last week. I finally broke it open tonight.I've read a lot about it online -- none of it bad. I've read a lot about the entire line of the Iroshizuku line from Pilot..I don't think I've been let down. It's a very well-behaved ink with no feathering even on cheap paper. There's a bit of bleed-through on the cheap paper, but not enough to not use the second side of the paper. The thick HP paper worked even better showing the great shading that comes from this ink!I love the mix of carefree and serious notes that I get from this. It's playful and elegant at the same time.I picked it up from Amazon<img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=somethingdiff-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B003MVKFRW" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> for $28. It's an expensive ink, but in the big scheme of things it's nothing really. On a per-page basis it's still a lot cheaper than paper.[smugmug url="http://photos.vec.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=20864770_TjQcX6&format=rss200" imagecount="100" start="1" num="100" thumbsize="Th" link="smugmug-lightbox" captions="false" sort="false" window="true" smugmug="true" size="L"]
