Shotgunning!

Yesterday was the last day we spent in our old space at Amazon. Today -- Friday -- was a move day. Our desktops, which hold our work environments, were off due to the move so other than email not a whole lot of work could happen. One of my co-workers suggested some team-building shooting! How can I say no?!So I collected a small array of pistols to take out and some ammo to share and he brought a couple of rifles and a shotgun. Beforehand we bought some clays for the shot gun.We progressed up the calibers from a .22 LR pistol up to a .44 Magnum revolver with stages at 9mm and .45 ACP. He had a couple of .22 LR rifles: an iron sighted lever-action and a scoped bolt-action.Much fun was had introducing new folks to shooting! Everyone had fun and was smiling. After that we went to the neighboring range for some shotgunning.Other than sending a few slugs down the barrel of my brother's pump-action Remington 870 I've never really shot one.Not to pat myself on the back enough to pull a muscle I have to say I'm pretty good! It's been a while since I've had so much fun with a gun. And there's nothing quite like watching a clay pigeon explode into a cloud of dust.I was hitting perhaps 75% give or take my first time out.I think I need to take up this hobby!<sigh/>Another hobby.So... a good gun. Reloading for 12-guage... more components...:-P
