Neighborhood

Seattle has the official Night Out every year as a way getting to know your neighbors in your neighborhood. This year it was August 7th.Our block couldn't get the plans to work for us and we wound up having it tonight.It wasn't a block party like a lot of 'hoods do, but this was in someone's back yard. In the end we're on a short-ish street and we had a total of perhaps 30-40 people cycle in and out of the party.It's nice to really start meeting people in bulk and not just the people right next door.And I met another Amazonian! (Ahh -- the awkward thing of "well, I can't really tell you what I do." heh.)But we still don't know who has the Ducati that's parked on the street and never moves.I like our neighbors. I wish we had something like this in Solon when we were there...
