The trainer... still not together.

:-(The back story of this is that the awesome indoor bike trainer that I got earlier in the year got damaged in the move. Actually, I'll be more active voice: the dumbass movers damaged it by supporting it on the rear flywheel on a metal hand-cart.This is a finely machined piece of steel that rubs on a felt friction pad. If you start putting gauges in it, nothing useful is going to happen since all that's going to happen is the pad will start to get all torn up.No problem. We had a specialist come and give us an estimate and the mover's insurance agreed to cover it.The repair guy came out today with a new flywheel. We mounted it up and started to sync the computer to the new wheel. It wasn't working. Swap batteries. Still nothing.Start to take apart the old wheel to see what's in the hub...Try more random things. That's when he realized that there's no electronics in the other wheel. We find out after installing the wheel that the hub needs to be swapped. (!)No problem. let's start doing that... even though this is taking a lot longer than expected. Give it the old college try.Eventually the effort was stymied by the rear sprocket: it needed to come off to get the power sensor off the wheel. We needed a freewheel remover to get that off.For want of a $13 part we have to reschedule. And I still don't have a trainer.  :-(
