Color or Black and White?

So, out shooting the Greenwood Street Party I had some shots that I took in color. I didn't have a choice in color or black and white because my camera has a color sensor -- the raw image I pull from it has all three colors regardless the settings. (If, on the other hand I was shooting a Leica M Monochrome then I'd be in real B&W -- but, likewise, I'd be limited to only B&W since that's what its sensor is.)A couple shots I think work in either color or B&W. I'm looking for input or criticism on which you prefer.So... without further ado:vs.And the other one:vs.Thoughts?In both cases this was more than a straight color -> B&W conversion. I fiddled with each one to make it look as good as possible given the presentation. In either case, the cropping is the same.
