Wrenching

Even though it can be a time suck, I like working on my bike. I got the first, and really the messiest, part of the job today: the valve adjust.Other than working around the crash bar, it went well. The crash bars area good example of kinda poor design. Of the four bolts that hold things together there were four different hex heads. I had to use a 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm. Blech. With the bars on I couldn't get the valve covers off to get to the valves. No worries though.I really like the self-reliance of being able to work on things independently.Tomorrow (assuming the weather holds): Engine oil, transmission oil and final drive.
