Any recommendations for a good time-lapse camera?

My team got moved from Rufus, nestled on the Amazon campus in South Lake Union, to Coral. Right outside my window (hey, look at that, I have a window!) I'm overlooking the building of Amazon's Rufus 2.0, a 37-story tower.At this stage the building is mostly a giant pit in the ground with a tower crane starting to haul stuff into.So, I'm figuring a good thing to do perch a camera on my ledge and start filming the event... which then begs the question: what's a good camera for this task? I'm figuring that this will go on for the next 6-12 months so having it externally powered is essential. Beyond that I'm pretty much open to anything.Thoughts or advice?
