Fixer

I'm a fixer. I admit it.It's one of those traits about me that I can't really help. This is for both big things and small things... the small things outnumber the big just due to the commonality of it.Some things are scarcely noticeable even.I remember a motorcycle trip Ennie and I were on -- I'm pretty sure it was our last Alaska trip actually -- we stopped to grab a bite to eat at a diner somewhere like South Dakota. I wanted to charge my phone or something so we sat by an outlet.I noticed that something was loose.Out came the Leatherman and I tightened up the face plate that was rattling around. It needed to be tightened; it needed to be fixed. That on up... if something is broken I try to fix it by default... or at least fix the symptoms if the underlying thing is really broken.
