Calibrating my legs

I've been riding a lot on my trainer lately. I've downloaded various GPS tracks from the interwebs and programmed them into the trainer for me to ride. This is all well and good except for the fact that I have to cross-check reality with the virtual training occasionally. If I can make it up a hill on the trainer, I better be able to do the same in real life.Today it started off as a beautiful day with lots of sun and even a hint of warm. Not wanting to go to work tomorrow and say I didn't go riding I got the bike all tuned up for the season and hit the road. There are a couple of differences between the trainer and the roads of Seattle. The biggest is traffic and the roads themselves. I was a good 10 bpm higher typically on the road because I'm not as tuned into riding on city streets. But that being said, I still was able to make it up my benchmark hill -- the climb out of Golden Gardens.:-)Take a look at my ride if you want.
